HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — A woman was arrested and charged with burglary after she returned to the scene of a break-in she is accused of committing on Greenbrush Road, according to the Highland County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the Greenbrush Road address on July 19 in response to a burglary complaint naming two people who had entered a residence without permission and damaged property, the sheriff’s office said.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies began an investigation and reviewed camera footage showing the suspects, according to the sheriff’s office. While the investigation was underway, one of the suspects came back to the property.

Courtney Marlow was arrested at the scene and charged with burglary and criminal damaging, the sheriff’s office said. She was transported to the Highland County Jail.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
