CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The Circleville Fire Department announced Monday that it has reached full staffing after welcoming two new firefighters to its ranks.
Firefighter/EMT Lucas Lowery and Firefighter/Paramedic Cullen Shields have joined the department, the agency said in a Facebook post. The department said their addition strengthens the Circleville Fire Department and helps ensure it can continue providing the highest level of service to the community.
The Circleville Fire Department provides combined fire suppression and emergency medical services to the city and surrounding Pickaway County community. The department is led by Fire Chief Brian Thompson and is headquartered at 586 N. Court St. in Circleville.
Reaching full staffing allows the department to maintain its current level of coverage as it responds to fire, medical and rescue calls throughout the city. The department asked residents to join in welcoming Lowery and Shields and thanked its full roster of firefighters for their dedication to keeping the community safe.
