MCDERMOTT, Ohio — Colley Road is closed between Duck Run Road and McDaniel Road near McDermott after a crash Monday morning, according to the Scioto County Emergency Management Agency.
The agency said in a Facebook post that the road is expected to remain closed for a few hours and urged drivers to use an alternate route while crews work the scene.
No further details about the crash, including the vehicles involved or whether anyone was injured, had been released as of Monday morning.
McDermott is an unincorporated community in southern Scioto County with a population of a few hundred people. Colley, Duck Run and McDaniel roads form a network of rural routes connecting the community to the surrounding township.
