CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Pickaway County has closed Lockbourne Eastern Road for bridge maintenance, with no timetable yet for when it will reopen.
The Pickaway County Engineer’s Office shut down the road between South Bloomfield-Royalton Road and the South Bloomfield village limits Monday, according to a county advisory. The closure will remain in place until further notice while crews complete the work.
It’s the latest in a series of bridge-related closures the county engineer has announced in recent days, following separate closures on Era Road and Crownover Mill Road.
Drivers who normally use Lockbourne Eastern Road will need to find an alternate route until the closure is lifted. The county did not post a specific detour route in its advisory.
