PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — The Portsmouth City Health Department will spray for mosquitoes Friday evening in several city neighborhoods, targeting areas around High Street, Summit Street, the 900 block of 29th Street, Argonne Road and George Street.
Crews are expected to treat the areas from approximately 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, according to a public notice from the health department.
The department is recommending that anyone with chronic breathing problems turn off their air conditioner or close their windows during the spraying window.
