SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Crews will pave two township roads and resurface two others in Scioto County during the week of Sept. 21 through Sept. 24, weather permitting, according to the county engineer’s office.
Darren C. LeBrun, P.E., P.S., the Scioto County Engineer, announced the schedule this week for his department’s paving and resurfacing crews.
The Shelly Company is set to pave Disterdick Lane in Green Township and Pond Run Road in Nile Township between Friday and Sept. 25, the engineer’s office said. One lane will remain open on each road, with flaggers directing traffic around the work.
Separately, county crews will resurface Poplar Fork Road, also known as County Road 269, in Green and Vernon townships on Monday and Wednesday. Big Pete Road, or County Road 268, in Green Township is scheduled for resurfacing Thursday. Flaggers will maintain traffic on both roads during the work, according to the engineer’s office.
The Scioto County Engineer’s Office oversees maintenance, repair and construction of the county’s roads and bridges outside municipal limits, and regularly schedules paving and resurfacing work through the fall construction season.
