PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — The Pickaway County Engineer’s Office has closed Hayesville Road between Tarlton-Adelphi Road and State Route 56 because of high water, with no estimate for when it will reopen.
The closure took effect early Sunday, according to the county. Officials asked drivers to avoid the stretch and seek alternate routes until floodwaters recede.
The road is one of several in Pickaway County that have flooded and closed in recent weeks amid heavy rainfall in the region.
