CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Ross County woman called for help from deputies after she said ghosts burglarized her home.
According to reports, deputies were called to Eastern Avenue in Chillicothe on Monday. The woman who lived there told deputies that she was awakened by a man standing in her living room. She told law enforcement that the man ran through her house grabbing money from her purse before jumping from a second story porch.
Deputies on scene looked around and said, if true, the man would have jumped approximately 15 feet onto metal objects on the ground. Law enforcement also said that if someone had, indeed, jumped from the porch that they would have suffered significant injuries.
According to reports, the deputies found no signs of forced entry or evidence of a burglary. The woman went on to tell them that she did not feel safe in her home and that the property was haunted by ghosts.
