Mary Elizabeth Peterson

Mary Elizabeth Peterson age 87 of Buford Community and Englewood Florida died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Englewood Community Hospital in Florida. She was born June 19, 1933, in Williamsburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Herman and Anna Mallott Bingaman. Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker and had worked with her husband as s secretary in the family business, Buford Farmers Exchange and  Buford Oliver Sales. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa “Terri” (Howard) Willis of Englewood, Florida, six grandchildren, Mina (Richard) Willey of Hillsboro, Melissa (Carl) Bingaman of Lynchburg, Howard Willis III of Hillsboro, Henry (Melissa) Willis of Greenfield, Laura (Jacob) Willis-Calo of Northford, Connecticut, Matthew Willis of Milford and eighteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle “Tuck” Peterson on July 27, 2014 and four brothers, Joseph, Earl, Robert and Ralph Bingaman.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26^th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro
