Rose Nell (Thompson) Waits,

Rose Nell (Thompson) Waits, age 84, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday June 18, 2021, at her home.  She was born on November 6, 1936, in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Hargus and Maggie (Shields) Thompson.  Rose is survived by her twin sister, Sylvia Dale Thompson Carter of Norwood, Ohio; three children, Stephen Waits of Hillsboro, Jeff (Mary Ruth) Waits of Hillsboro, Stephanie Rose of Sardinia, Ohio, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Leon Waits on March 20, 2017; eight siblings, Marjorie Thompson, Hazel McKenzie, Betty Hines, Jean Ohl, Bobby Thompson, Gordon Thompson, Josie Thompson, and Janet Thompson.  There will be no visitation.  In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
