ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A woman called police on Tuesday after her car was struck by paintballs on route 23.
It happened near the Pike County line, according to reports. Elaine Sturgill told police that she had heard something hit her vehicle. It was at that time Sturgill pulled her car to the side of the highway, she said. She had told deputies that she noticed what appeared to be paintballs splattered on the car.
Deputies searched the surrounding area, but was unable to locate anyone.
