A woman was taken by EMS to the hospital after a nasty crash near Jeffersonville.
Jefferson Township Fire and EMS responded to West Lancaster Road between Upperjamestown Road and route 734 shortly after 6:30 Thursday evening.
Officials said the woman driver reported to them that she fell asleep while driving and ran off into a ditch, rolling over, and coming to rest by a nearby tree stump.
The woman’s name has not been released; she was taken to a local hospital for injuries.
