A Ross County Judge has denied early release from prison for the former principal of Chillicothe High School convicted of sex with students.
Former Chillicothe High School Principal, Jeff Fisher, was sentenced to two years in prison in January after he did an “Alford Plea” to charges related to sexual misconduct with two now-former students.
Fisher struck a deal with prosecutors to make the plea in exchange for probation, but Ross County Judge Mike Ater refused to honor the agreement and sentenced Fisher to two years behind bars.
In July, Fisher and his lawyers petitioned the court for an early release, but the Judge denied it, according to court documents that were entered into the docket on Wednesday.

It’s crazy to see that my old principle will be behind bars. In all honesty it’s common sense to not do those things in the first place. You have a lovely wife to go home to. Not your students. Hopefully he will learn his lesson from this. If any female student/male student is going through something like this don’t be afraid to speak up and tell and adult. No one is going to judge you.
