ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — EMS and Ross County Sheriff Deputies responded early Saturday morning to the South Salem area.
According to law enforcement, several structures in the area were heavily damaged.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office said two homes in South Salem were destroyed.
Ross County Emergency Management was activated after a tornado warning was issued for the county. All township fire departments were ordered on standby as the storm passed.
The Guardian could not confirm if there have been any injuries at this time.
The National Weather Service will conduct a storm survey to confirm if a tornado caused the damage.
