ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Two teens face multiple serious charges following what law enforcement described as “an attempted riot.”

Deputies responded Friday to the Juvenile Detention Center on Cattail Road.

Reports say two 15-year-old juveniles assaulted another juvenile with a fire extinguisher. The two teens, officials say, then barricaded themselves in the library. After a short stand-off, authorities were able to take the teens into custody.

The incident remains under investigation and further details were not available from law enforcement.
