CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — On Monday, police in Chillicothe were busy investigating multiple reported shootings.
The first call came in shortly before 6 a.m. in the area of Vine Street on the city’s west side. According to reports, several rounds were fired at a residence in the 100 block. Police at the scene located several spent shell casings, and a bullet hole in the exterior of a home.
Later in the day, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Ervin Avenue. Officers and detectives responded to the scene after a caller stated that they had found shell casings and bullet holes around their property.
Police have not commented if the two cases were related.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
