CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police in Chillicothe are investigating someone who allegedly wrote a bad check to a local business.
Officers were sent to a local appliance store after one of the employees reported that a check given to the business was returned for insufficient funds. The employee told police that the individual had written a check for $213.43 for the purchase of a microwave oven.
The case took an interesting turn when the employee, according to the report provided to the Guardian, told officers that the phone number attached to the individual’s account came back to what the business called a “local prostitution/escort service.” A call to the number by the Guardian revealed it to be linked to a woman named Samantha Love. The voicemail then proceeded to list a variety of sexual services that can be acquired from this person.
