WILMINGTON, Ohio — Portions of the Scioto Valley remain under the threat of flash flooding.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms will continue to bring heavy rain to much of southern Ohio this afternoon. Forecasters warn these storms could move slowly across the area, delivering another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.
Residents in flood-prone areas should monitor conditions throughout the day and be ready to act if flooding occurs.
