A second deputy from Ross County was taken to the hospital Thursday night after having medical complications while at work.
The Guardian first told you that a deputy was taken by ambulance to Adena Regional around 10 p.m. Thursday night after having rapid heart palpations and high blood pressure.
Then, shortly before 1 a.m. early Friday morning, a second deputy was taken by squad to the hospital for chest pains. It’s believed the events are unrelated.
It’s unknown if an environmental factor at the correctional facility is to blame. The Guardian has reached out to the Sheriff’s office for more information.
Both deputies are expected to be okay. The Guardian is not releasing their names.
