CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that took place on Riverside Street late Sunday evening. A resident, reports say, heard what was believed to be gunfire while inside their home and upon inspection, found that their vehicle had been shot multiple times.
The police officers who arrived at the scene observed damages to the front windshield, driver’s side window, and back windshield of the vehicle.
The resident stated that they had cameras on their property but the footage did not capture anything useful in identifying the suspect or suspects. The resident also mentioned having seen a red truck in the area but did not have any further information about the vehicle.
The police are actively investigating the incident and ask that anyone with information contact the Chillicothe Police Department.
