VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office has released its daily activity report for March 23, 2023. The report outlines a range of incidents and complaints that were handled by deputies over the course of the day.
The report shows that at 10:32 am, deputies received a complaint of a trash dump on Bowlin Road. At 1:18 pm, deputies took custody of Melvin King on Probation Violations and transported him to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. Later in the day, at 2:50 pm, deputies took a report of a theft on Brooks Martin Road, and at 3:06 pm, they responded to Carpenter Road for a trespasser.
Additionally, at 3:08 pm, deputies responded to Mckee Road in reference to a suspicious person. Later in the day, at 4:59 pm, deputies patrolled State Route 93 after receiving a complaint of a juvenile walking on the roadway. At 5:48 pm, deputies responded to Main Street in Hamden in reference to harassment issues, and at 6:18 pm, deputies checked a disabled vehicle on State Route 93. Finally, at 7:54 pm, deputies patrolled State Route 683 after receiving a complaint from a suspicious person.
