CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The Circleville Police Department announced the arrest of John Graves following a domestic violence incident and subsequent search warrant execution.
Initial Arrest and Charges:
- Officers responded to a domestic situation on February 7th at 682 East Mound Street.
- John Graves was apprehended and charged with:
- Two counts of Domestic Violence
- Strangulation
- Two counts of Assault
- Obstruction of Official Business
Search Warrant and Seizure:
- A search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence.
- The search uncovered:
- 11 firearms
- Methamphetamine
- Drug paraphernalia
- Currency
- Prescription pills
- Stolen property, including items belonging to the state prison system and a deputy sheriff
Additional Charges:
- Mr. Graves faces additional charges due to the seized items:
- Weapons Under Disability
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Xanax
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Multiple counts of Receiving Stolen Property
