GREENFIELD, Ohio — The Greenfield Police Department announced a new initiative to support senior citizens and disabled veterans in their community. From the first week of May through the end of September 2024, officers will offer free bi-weekly lawn care services on their own time.
The program is open to senior citizens and disabled veterans who own property within the village limits. To participate, residents must sign a waiver of liability. Officers will use their personal equipment and fuel to provide the service.
Interested residents are encouraged to call or text the number listed on the attached flyer. If calling before 4:00 pm, please leave a message.
The department asks that residents only call the number on the flyer to avoid tying up police department lines.
