CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police are investigating an act of vandalism at the First Freewill Baptist Church on Ervin Avenue in Chillicothe. The incident occurred sometime over the weekend.
Officers discovered two broken windows at the church, one in the basement and another higher on the building. The police department says a piece of brick was used to break the upper window.
No suspects have been identified at this time. Police have photographed the damage, and an investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chillicothe Police Department. This is just the latest chapter in an ongoing surge in property crimes within Ohio’s First Captial.
