CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police have released new details in the large fight that broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning in Chillicothe, resulting in several arrests by Chillicothe Police and assisting agencies.
The incident began with reports of a large crowd fighting in a strip mall parking near Cheap Tobacco, Wobbly Ghost Bar, and Advanced Auto. Upon arrival, officers found multiple physical altercations and attempted to disperse the crowd.
During the chaos, an individual wearing a white hoodie and mask was reportedly seen punching multiple people. After a foot pursuit by officers, Dacoma Lett was apprehended and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.
Lazae Lett was also arrested on charges of disorderly conduct-fighting and resisting arrest. According to police reports, Lett was initially involved in a physical altercation and resisted officers’ commands to stop. After being subdued with a taser, Lett was taken into custody but continued to cause disturbances at the scene, police said.
Additionally, Danica Moore was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Officers observed Moore in a state of extreme intoxication, police reported.
All those arrested have pending court dates at Chillicothe Municipal Court. Property owners have indicated that those involved will be barred from the property.
