ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County man, Ronald Yoakem, is set to face sentencing today in court on multiple charges related to drug trafficking. Yoakem could face a prison term ranging from 2.5 to 7.5 years.
Yoakem was indicted in August 2023 on seven counts related to drug trafficking. After striking a deal in which two counts of aggravated drug possession were dismissed, Yoakem entered a guilty plea in the Ross County Court of Common Pleas.
The outcome of today’s court proceedings will determine Yoakem’s fate as he awaits his sentence.
