ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting a manhunt for a suspect involved in a drive-by shooting and robbery that occurred in the 9000 block of Route 772 in Ross County, just after around 10 AM today.
The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is believed to be heading towards Columbus. The individual is reportedly driving a large tan or gold-colored SUV, possibly with New York license plates.
The suspect is also wanted in connection with a homicide case in Columbus.

10:46 AM: A vehicle pursuit is currently underway in Pickaway County. The suspect was spotted in the area of Darbyville. Speeds in the chase are reaching over 100mph. An aviation unit has been requested to assist in the area of Route 56.
10:53 AM: Deputy reportedly crashed along 56 while in pursuit of the suspect.
10:55 AM: Deputies reportedly struck the fleeing suspect’s vehicle. A short gunfight erupted. Deputies and trooper confirm that the suspect has been shot in the head.
