An investigation into an officer-involved shooting is underway in Adams County near the Highland County border.

It all went down at around around 3:30 p.m. along Greenbrier Road in Seaman.

The Guardian has learned a woman was arguing with her significant other when deputies and officers responded.

She reportedly threatened the officers with a gun, sources say, and that’s when officers opened fire.

“The officers are okay,” said Steve Irwin, a spokesman with the Ohio Attorney General.

At least one person was flown from the scene by medical helicopter.

No names or who was injured has been released.
