Deputies Nott, Dutcher, and Sgt. Champion were dispatched to Western Ave for a report of suicidal threats. After speaking with the individual and his father, it was determined he was safe to remain in his father’s care.

At approximately 9:22 AM, Sgt. Champion was dispatched to 10067 SR-159 for a vandalism complaint. A male reported his windshield had been struck by an object overnight. Damage was observed, and an investigation was initiated.

At approximately 10:00 AM, Sgt. Champion was dispatched to 75 Chamber Dr. for a vehicle break-in and theft. The caller stated that an unknown person had entered a vehicle on the property and stolen items. The theft was recorded on security cameras, and an investigation was started.

Deputies Nott and Dutcher were dispatched to 28 N Paint St for a report of pandering obscenity involving a minor on Western Ave. All information was taken and forwarded to Detectives for further investigation.

On July 15, I was dispatched to 804 Eastern Ave for a theft complaint. The caller reported that someone had stolen his Wi-Fi hotspot router.

At approximately 11:24 AM, Sgt. Champion was dispatched to 85 Glen Dr. for a neighbor complaint. A female reported that her neighbors were poisoning the groundwater and harming her trees by throwing lawn trimmings into her yard. Mary Atwood stated that her neighbors’ actions were causing her tree to drop its acorns prematurely.

At approximately 1:45 PM, Sgt. Champion took a report of alleged misuse of funds for foster children. The caller stated that a foster family was pawning items meant for the children. It was determined that no criminal activity was occurring. Children Services had already been advised.
