JACKSON, Ohio — Two people were arrested on Monday after leading law enforcement in two states on a high-speed chase.
It all began in Jackson County along Route 35. The chase continued from Jackson into West Virginia. The driver and their passenger then traveled along I-64 East near the area of West Moreland.
Troopers say that during the pursuit a female passenger was let out of the vehicle.
It eventually came to an end after a stand-off along the highway.
The name of those taken into custody and the reason for the pursuit has not been disclosed at the time of this reporting. The Guardian is working to gather details on the incident.
