CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A middle school student was arrested yesterday after allegedly threatening to shoot another student.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department’s media statement, officers responded to the Chillicothe Middle School after learning that a student had made threats against another. The student who allegedly made the threat did not have a weapon in their possession, but a search of their home led to the discovery of a gun, which was seized by police.
The student has been charged with inducing panic and was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
