An odor scare caused minor chaos at the Wal-Mart in Chillicothe.
It happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday after an odor was smelled in the area of the shoe department, which prompted someone to call 9-1-1.
The fire department responded and started an investigation. Customers were asked to step outside, and some chose to leave. Those who tried to enter to shop were turned away.
By 5:15 p.m., the fire department found no serious issues and the store reopened.
