Firefighters battled a house fire in Ross County Tuesday evening.
It happened at around 6:30 p.m. at 3996 Higby Road near Omega.
The homeowners made it out safely, but said their dogs were still inside. They were trying to rescue them as firefighters arrived. It’s unknown to the Guardian if the canines make it out safely.
The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
