An arrest warrant has been issued for a Circleville man. Anthony Cook is wanted by the Fairfield County Sheriff. The Sheriff told the Guardian that Cook shot a man in the leg during a fight Sunday night near Lithopolis. The victim will be okay. Cook is from Circleville and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Court Street in Circleville will be periodically closed this week. The closures are happening because of railway repairs “Norfolk & Southern will have North Court Steet closed at the Rail Road underpass on Tuesday March 31st, Wednesday April 1st, and Thursday April 2nd between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM,” the Sheriff’s office said.

A man has been hit by a car in Chillicothe. It happened at Bridge and Second Streets at around 1:30 Monday afternoon. The man was laying in the road when the ambulance arrived. He has a gash to his head and was taken to the hospital. No other names have been released.
