The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is making its return to Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.

The resort announced on its X profile that it’ll be welcoming back WSOP for a Circuit Stop from August 14th to August 25th this year.

This will mark the first time a circuit event has taken place in Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City since 2020.

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City — A Premier Poker Destination

Poker players have plenty of options when choosing where they want to play.

Online poker is on the rise, with more and more fans of the game turning to the web. Many have started playing poker offshore due to the fast transactions and generous bonuses offered. At the same time, online poker in the U.S. is expanding, with Pennsylvania currently working towards joining the MSIGA program.

For those still looking to play in brick-and-mortar casinos, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City is a premier poker destination. Over the past few years, the resort has undergone significant renovations to upgrade its accommodations and amenities.

It features a total of 177,000 sq ft of gaming space and a poker room with 28 tables. The resort also offers brand new video poker machines, which are available both in its Eden Lounge with live music and a quiet setting where you can concentrate on your game.

The resort also has a variety of bonuses available for new players who are visiting for the first time. With these promotions and a plethora of gaming options, Hannah’s Resort Atlantic City is a place to be in August 2025 when the WSOP makes its return to the shore.

Additionally, the resort offers nightlife options such as its The Pool After Dark and celebrity restaurants including those that feature some of the biggest Chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Bobby Flay.

Its Pool and Fitness Center also offers a place for escaping the buzz of Atlantic City and unwinding in a relaxing atmosphere.

Therefore, regardless of whether you’re a pro poker player or a casual fan of the game, the WSOP-C at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City is guaranteed to be an event worth attending.

Harrah’s Resort Senior Vice President and General Manager, Gregg Klein, said that WSOP making its comeback to Atlantic City highlights the resort’s commitment to providing ultimate gaming experiences.

The History of WSOP at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

Back in 2005, Harrah’s Atlantic City had the honor of being the opening venue for the first WSOP Circuit.

However, this was only the beginning as the popular series of tournaments returned to the resort in all of the following 14 seasons.

This means that the partnership lasted for a total of 15 years, and the WSOP-C return will mark a huge milestone.

With the WSOP main events typically being held in Las Vegas, Atlantic City will host a circuit event in August 2025. The event will begin on Thursday, August 14th, and conclude on Monday, August 25th.

The circuit events are where players get a chance to compete for WSOP rings and earn a spot at the Global Casino Championship.

Before the WSOP returns to Atlantic City, it will head to Los Angeles for its Tournament of Champions, which will be held from Thursday, May 15th, to Saturday, May 17th.

Then, the poker action will continue in Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina and Horseshoe Tunica in Mississippi.

The combination of world-class poker and the Atlantic City atmosphere means that the comeback of the competition to the city is going to be a memorable event.
