Troopers say that a woman who crashed into the back of a school bus was drunk and high.
The Guardian learned late-Thursday night that Sandra Downs, 56, was charged with DUI after troopers say they found drugs — mostly pills — in her car. She was believed to be high on narcotics and drunk when she crashed into the back of a school bus, the troopers told the Guardian.
WSYX in Columbus obtained a photo of the car wedged under the back of the bus.
The crash occurred after 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon in Tarlton. No one was injured and students on-board were taken home by another bus who came to the scene.
Downs, however, was not taken home. She was taken to the Fairfield County Jail.
