Deputies were engaged in a high speed pursuit in Ross and Pickaway counties that involved shots fired.
It happened in the area of Charleston Pike toward Adelphi in Ross County. The pursuit started at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday and was snaking around the eastern and southern part of the county.
It started in another county and had Hocking and Pickaway deputies involved, as well.
Just after 11:20 p.m., the pursuit was in the area of Walnut Creek Road.
At around 11:30 p.m., the suspects were firing shots at the deputies while still being chased.
At 11:40 p.m., the car hit stop sticks, but was still fleeing.
At 11:43 p.m., two people were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit in the 6500 block of Charleston Pike.
