A man has been charged with manslaughter after police say he gave a fatal dose of drugs to another.
On Monday, the Circleville Police Department Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call for help in the 100 block of Lewis Avenue.
Once there, Police located an unresponsive male along with two other people. Officers preformed CPR and administered multiple doses of Narcan. The unresponsive man was transported to Ohio Health Berger Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Charles Bellamy was found inside the home by responding officers. Bellamy admitted to providing the fentanyl responsible for the overdose, the police Chief said.
Bellamy was arrested on charges of Involuntary Manslaughter, Corrupting Another with Drugs, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Drugs, and Trafficking in Drugs.
