CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Forecasters are warning of multiple rounds of rainfall moving into the region this week, with periods of heavier rain expected tonight into early Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, rain will begin moving into the area late this morning and continue throughout the day. The heaviest rainfall is expected to arrive this evening and persist into the overnight hours.
Meteorologists say several rounds of rain are likely as the week progresses, which could lead to areas of quick runoff and localized flooding, especially in low-lying or poor drainage areas.

Residents are advised to monitor forecasts, avoid driving through water-covered roadways, and allow extra travel time during heavier downpours.
