Circleville Police took drugs and a gun off the streets on Tuesday after a traffic stop that initially started as a window tint violation.

It happened on Main Street in the early afternoon.

Police said that an officer pulled the vehicle over for a cracked windshield and window tint. Upon suspicion that drugs may be in the car, a K-9 was called to the scene and did a sniff of the vehicle. The dog made a positive hit. That’s when another officer also arrived on the stop and took the driver, passenger, and their four children into a cruiser with warm heat.

Officers continued searching the vehicle and located 10 baggies containing a gram of fentanyl a piece, a 9mm handgun, a digital scale and other drugs.

The passenger Raskaya Williams, 23, Columbus was arrested and charged with several drug charges and having a gun, along with multiple charges for child endangering.
