A good Samaritan in Chillicothe is listed in critical condition in a Columbus-area hospital after being runover by a tractor trailer.
It happened along Miller Road near Charleston Pike late-Tuesday evening in Ross County.
Troopers report that a semi was trying to turn-around and was having difficulty. That’s when a local man, 77-year-old Ralph G. Scott stopped to help the driver navigate backing up the large truck. While standing along the road and giving hand signals to the semi driver, Scott slipped and fell and was runover by the semi, troopers said.
Scott was flown to Columbus by medical helicopter.
