A family-friendly annual ice skating event is underway in Chillicothe.
The Mighty Kid’s Children Museum, located at 21 E. 4th Street has erected their ice skating rink on the corner of Paint and 4th Streets. The rink is kid-friendly and offers skating Thursday through Sunday.
Because of COVID concerns, some minor modifications have been made that does not impact the fun.
“We do a capacity control, a temperature check and health assessment,” said museum employee Chelsea Pearce.
Skating is $5 per person, which includes skates, as well as a “walker” for children or for those who are unexperienced skaters.
Weather permitting, the rink will be open until February.
