Obituary
Glenn P. Goldsberry, 77 of Orient, OH passed away at on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Mount Carmel Grove City. He was born on June 23, 1943 to the late Glenn “Dutch” A. and Freda M. (Strawser) Goldsberry in Ashville, OH.
Glenn was a graduate of South High School and worked for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Dept. for 26 years retiring as a Detective. He had also worked for the Obetz Police Dept. for 8 years and was a member of the F.O.P. and the N.R.A. He had also been a member of the SWAT Team for Franklin County. Glenn was a generous donor to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
Besides parents, Glenn was preceded in death by sister Judy Wright.
Glenn is survived by his wife Martha L. (Rife) Goldsberry; son Glenn C. (Carla) Goldsberry of Orient; daughter Ginger (Shawn) Darst of Henderson, WV; grandchildren Destiney (Blake), Marissa (Chris), Nathan, Josh (Elisa), Zach (Mariah), Rick (Tara), Ryan (Chelsea), Brianna, Collin, Kenzie (Travis), Christian (Angel Dawn); numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wed. Feb. 10th with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thurs. Feb. 11th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103 with Pastors Ken Roark Jr. and Susan Roark officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield.
