A dog in Ross County was stabbed Saturday night.
It happened at the Stone Road trailer park just before midnight. According to reports, a loose pit bull was roaming the trailer park and attacked another dog that was rightfully on their own property.
The homeowner came outside to find their dog being attacked and stabbed the aggressive dog, which was the loose one.
Deputies arrived on scene and found the injured dog. The dog warden was called to assist. It’s unknown how severe the injuries of the stabbed dog are, however, the homeowner is not expected to face any charges.
The owner of the dog that was at-large is expected to face charges for not having proper confinement.
