A second person was found unresponsive within 24 hours on Saturday inside the Ross County Jail.
Medics responded to the jail at around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday for a report of an inmate not breathing. The inmate was taken to Adena Regional where life saving efforts were unsuccessful, according to law enforcement sources.
It’s the second time an inmate has been removed dead from the jail within 24 hours. On Friday, another inmate was found not breathing and was declared dead.
