The police chief of a small Pike County village is under investigation for lewd acts.

WAVERLY, Ohio — The police chief of a small Pike County village is under investigation for lewd acts.

Chief Zach Dixon, 45, is being investigated by a public relations firm the Mayor of Waverly has hired after allegations surfaced that the chief filmed sex tapes while in uniform and distributed copies to employees.

The Guardian was the first to report the news of the tapes and the allegations of distribution on Monday.

Mayor Greg Kempton would not comment on the allegations lodged against his police chief, but the mayor told the Guardian on Tuesday that the firm, Clemans, Nelson, and Associates was conducting an investigation into the claims. Once a finding has been made by the consulting firm the mayor will determine what steps to take next, if any, he said.

Clemans Nelson — as they are better known as — is a “preeminent public sector labor relations and human resource consulting firm,” according to their website. Founded in 1976, Clemans Nelson employs 30-35 management consultants.
