ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Several law enforcement agents are searching a home in Massieville in Ross County in connection to an attempted murder suspect.
It’s happening at 2528 Massieville Road, near Toad Hallow Road.
Multiple detectives and plain-clothed officers are searching inside the home and multiple vehicles on the property.
Law enforcement sources tell the Guardian that deputies were searching for a man who lived at the property. Chris Sutton, of Chillicothe, is wanted in a shooting that happened on October 27 at Seventh and Mechanics Streets in the first Capital city; he has a warrant for attempted murder.
Sutton was not found at the property, but deputies continue to search throughout. Federal agents were also seen milling around the home.
The homeowners and a child can be seen freely walking around the property as law enforcement personnel search and film the property.
