Ernest Lee Wilson, 87, of Chillicothe, died 7:10 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness.
He was born November 6, 1933, in Vinton County, to the late John and Millie Jordan Wilson. On September 5, 1953, he married the former Pauline Rosenberger who died June 15, 2019.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Halasz and Pamela Gardner, both of Chillicothe; 7 grandchildren including Jack Stevens; and many great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Ernest was a retired farmer.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Browns Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Kennedy officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
