Obituary
From Aletha Knox
I’m sorry I didn’t post sooner but I’m still trying to adjust. Wayne didn’t want a funeral service & his wishes will be followed, he wanted cremated & I know where he wants his ashes spread. We are planning to get together around the 4th of July to share memories & celebrate his life, as anyone that knew him knew this was his favorite holiday. Wayne was born October 7th 1964 & left the world peacefully on February 17th 2021. He joined his mom & dad Charlie & Emma Glispie, his in laws Jim & Maxine knox & his beloved dog DeeDee to watch over us all. His children Jesse (Melissa) Ratliff, Alica (Brad) Kieser, Zack (Ashley)Knox, Nick Glispie & Chris (Brooke) Duty, along with his 13 grandkids will have & share lots of wonderful memories of him. He is also survived by his brothers Tony Glispie, Neil (Rhonda) Glispie & Tim (Ann) Glispie. He also had numerous nieces & nephews who’s lives he impacted in many ways. Wayne was my bestfriend & love of my life for 25 years, he was a great dad to my kids just as he was to his own. Wayne was a good friend to alot of people & was always there when anyone called him. I want to thank all of our friends & family for being here for me & the kids, especially the kids for making sure that I’m okay while they are dealing with all this themselves.
