WAVERLY, Ohio — Details and names of those involved in the Sunday night shooting in Waverly have been released.
According to Interim Police Chief John Winfield, Deric S. Lansing, 41, is facing a charge of felonious assault and assault after he shot Blaine Hubbard, III, Sunday night. It happened in the area of Saint Mary’s Lane and Little Flower Court.
Winfield said the two men were in a fight, and that’s when Lansing shot Hubbard. Hubbard was flown to Columbus, where he remains in serious condiction.
Lansing is locked up in the Butler County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
